I have in recent years intentionally presented a series of courses and lectures that would, taken together, serve as a more or less complete presentation of my approach and methodology. This bundle of material consists of approximately 140 hours of video recordings of lessons and lectures, including lots of supplementary resources.
Here’s a summary of the contents of this collection of material:
- Advanced Astrology for Beginners: Lessons in the basic elements of chart interpretation. There are actually two versions of this course in the bundle, one presented around 2012 and the other in 2023. This includes a 200 page pdf textbook and other useful resources.
- First Steps into Jyotish: A 12 session course on Vedic Astrology (includes contributions by my friend and colleague Ehsan Khazeni on the Nakshatras). The contents of this course will expose you to all the essential concepts and principles that you need to understand to unlock the rich potential of Jyotish.
- The Synthesis of Western and Vedic Astrology: A 12 session course presenting how I integrate and combine Western and Vedic methods. It highlight some of the more advanced methods of Western and Vedic astrology.
- Transits, Progressions and The Graphic Ephemeris: A 6 session deep dive into the geometric methods of Western astrology, including in particular the wonderful utility of the Graphic Ephemeris, as well as other useful geometric devices such as the 90 degree dial. This includes a draft version of a reference book for interpreting Transits.
- Sensible Synastry: A 9 session course on the astrology of relationships. This course went very deep and covered a range of angles and methods. It’s called Sensible Synastry because the aim is to present an approach that maintains a sense of proportion in applying astrological techniques to this topic. Something often sorely lacking in popular notions about Synastry.
- Practical Medical Astrology: A 12 session course on essential principles and methods of Medical Astrology (includes contributions by Ehsan Khazeni on Ayurveda and the calculation of Hyleg). This course was partly about sharing the fruits of decades of work with clients with health issues, and part research project. Some very distinct patterns emerged from this inquiry.
- Single Lecture on The Yogas of Jyotish (presented for the San Francisco Chapter of the NCGR).
- Single Lecture on Death Charts as Cosmic Obituaries.
- Single Lecture on Sensible Synastry (a condensed presentation of the course).
- Single Lecture on The Saturn-Neptune Conjunction of 2025-2026.
- Single Lecture on The Symbolism of Exalted and Debilitated Planets.
